The Eames storage units (ESU) use an ingenious and inventive system of construction as simple and as openly engineered as a bridge. The elements come together with a fine unforced logic, and the methods, mechanics, and reasons are completely apparent on the whole.

There are two color choices: “Colorful” units with primary colors of red, blue, and yellow, and “Neutral” with beige and grey colors. The wood elements of the storage units and desks are either walnut or birch. The two standard units are forty-eight inches by twenty-four inches wide; both are sixteen inches deep and thirty-two inches high.

Of all of the Eames designs, they provide the most obvious example of the benefits of standardized parts. The same parts could be used to make several different kinds of storage units, and the cost savings for the manufacture meant lower prices to the consumer. The storage units and the desks were sold to consumers fully assembled, in configurations ordained by Charles and Ray Eames.

Shipping Options
We only deliver to customers who have their usual residence (invoice address) in Germany and a German delivery address. We work together with the shipping service provider DHL. Our deliveries are sent via the climate-friendly shipping service DHL GoGreen. Large parcels are delivered by a forwarding agent. During the checkout process, the following additional services can be selected for these forwarding shipments:
• Delivery inside the first locked door (main building door, not apartment door) - depending on the residential situation (e.g. apartment building with multiple units), this may not be the apartment door.
• Delivery inside the apartment (apartment door) - the forwarding company will deliver your order inside the apartment door if you live in an apartment building, for example.
