The Eames Plastic Armchair is one of the absolute classics in seating. In 1950, the first mass-produced plastic chair in the history of furniture appeared on the market for the first time. Since then, the classic has lost none of its charm. Available in different versions, the Eames Chair is an absolute all-rounder in the living area.

Classic Shape - New Seat Height
The Eames Plastic Armchair can be individually combined with a variety of different seat shells, frames, cushions and colours. The classic shape of the chairs, however, remains unchanged. This is how Vitra reacts to the changing average body size - by adding more comfort to its chairs. This is Vitra’s response to the increased average body size since first going to production in 1950. With the new frames, the Eames Plastic Armchair DAW offers maximum sitting comfort.

Recently, the Eames chair have come to be considered absolute classics of interior design. However, you won’t only find the chairs in the living area, but also in the office, in restaurants, waiting rooms or cafés as well as in other facilities.Thanks to its robust polypropylene seat shell and modest appearance, the Vitra Eames Plastic Armchair DAW (Dining Height Armchair Wooden Base) can be used everywhere.

Please note: as standard, the Eames Plastic Side Chair DAW comes with white or black felt glides, according to the frame. Plastic glides are also available. If you desire a different seat shell, frame or glide colour, please contact our customer service department.

Shipping Options
We only deliver to customers who have their usual residence (invoice address) in Germany and a German delivery address. We work together with the shipping service provider DHL. Our deliveries are sent via the climate-friendly shipping service DHL GoGreen. Large parcels are delivered by a forwarding agent. During the checkout process, the following additional services can be selected for these forwarding shipments:
• Delivery inside the first locked door (main building door, not apartment door) - depending on the residential situation (e.g. apartment building with multiple units), this may not be the apartment door.
• Delivery inside the apartment (apartment door) - the forwarding company will deliver your order inside the apartment door if you live in an apartment building, for example.
